Autumn
12/12/2005
Dead in the night
Scattered or lined everywhere below are
Hundreds and thousands of shining lights
Empty, desolate streets sparks off
A foreboding that nothing’s right.
Vehicles gliding smoothly, casually as if
Engaging in no fight.
A soft murmur, floating on the ground,
Feathery-light, misty-like
Blueish hues of the darkened, shimmering sky
What a beautiful, calming sight.
Go to sleep, my dear one, for it is
Already dead in the night.
